Bawdsey

Dogs and manorOver Easter we went to Bawdsey Ferry, a local beach. Bawdsey Ferry is where the River Deben meets the sea. Along the river there is a sandy beach where you can swim safely, but round the point it becomes shingle and the tide is stronger. It wasn’t that warm and we weren’t planning on swimming, so we went round the corner to search for hag stones and taunt the waves.

  1. We also call our 17 year old, red head son Jude! His real name is Julian, but I very often shorten it to Jude. Cool.
