Laggan Bay

All together at Laggan BayLaggan Bay has a very long beach – maybe 7km long or more. A few days ago it was a beautiful sunny day and after visiting Port Charlotte and the Bruichladdich distillery we decided to walk along it at the end of the day. The light was fantastic, the beach was completely deserted – not surprising really as it it was a long and bumpy track to get to it from the north side. We spent a few hours walking up and down and playing frisbee until, to the horror of the dogs, I threw it accidentally into the sea…..

    • I tried to find the frisbee, but by the time I had got my walking boots etc off it had gone. The dogs looked at me reproachfully and we went on with the walk. We have lost a lot of frisbees! Your dog looks lovely by the way. Love the blog.

  1. After all that water and open space and time alone together will you ever want to come home? Imagine the dogs might like to stay a while longer. Safe travels home.

    • Luckily we have lots of water and open space back home as well. Some time together is good, a lot of time is not necessarily better! Dogs are happy where ever – they will get to see their friends back at home and work the sheep! They have a fantastic life despite their complaints. xx
