Liver and heart panfried in olive oil, deglaze pan with balsamic vinegar, add a spoonful of hedgerow jelly and put on a bed of watercress and avocado. Instant, wonderful food that makes up for two long days in London and you can make at 9.30 at night when all you really want is to be in bed asleep.
N.B. This dog was offered a bit of the heart (the bit with tubes sticking out) and he turned his nose up at it. Luckily Daisy Dog is a more discerning type of dog and she joined me in scarffing in down!
