Iggy Pop Popped

Of course, she waited until just after I left before having her baby.

I left this morning to go to London for an ultrasound and to stay the night at an airport hotel before my very early flight tomorrow to Sarajevo for a workshop.

Before I left I checked on Iggy Pop and fed her orange peel. I told her that I was hoping she could wait until I got home on Sunday night before having her baby.

She couldn’t. And this afternoon she had a lovely little buckling. James was looking after her and our friend Andrew came round to check on her too. I am pleased she and the little boy are doing well, but pretty gutted that I missed it.

She is going to be such a wonderful mum.

N.B. Not that I want to detract from this lovely moment, but seriously people, homemade goat’s cheese made from our own goat’s milk just got a lot nearer being a reality …… actually scarily nearer ……
